GENERAL LABORER
Abbott Furnace Company, a leading manufacturer in industrial furnaces, located in St. Marys, PA is currently seeking a General Laborer to support our team.
We are seeking motivated, hardworking, mechanically inclined people who enjoy working with their hands, solving problems, and learning new skills.
This position is an excellent fit for individuals who have experience working on a farm, maintaining equipment, fixing things, working on vehicles, or tackling hands-on projects. If you’re the type of person who likes figuring out how things work and you aren’t afraid of hard work, we’d like to talk to you.
At Abbott Furnace Company, we don’t operate assembly lines or mass-produce products. Every furnace we build is custom designed and manufactured from the ground up to meet the unique needs of our customers. Our employees are involved in a wide variety of processes, including: fabrication, design and engineering support, electrical programming and controls, plumbing and piping systems, insulation installation, painting & finishing, and testing & shipping. Because every project is different, no two days are exactly alike. Employees have the opportunity to learn multiple trades, develop new skills, and take pride in seeing a project through from start to finish.
