Abbott Furnace Company exhibited at the Rapid + TCT conference held at the McCormick Place in Chicago, May 2-4, 2023. This event is “North America’s largest and most influential Additive Manufacturing event.”
Rapid + TCT by the numbers:
- 31% of the audience are new to adopting additive manufacturing technology.
- 41% have already invested in additive manufacturing technology and transforming design and production.
- 28% are experts and optimizing the advancement of additive manufacturing within their organization.
Along with more than 130 technical presentations and 350 + exhibitors, Abbott showcased new technologies in High-Volume De-Binding and Sintering Furnaces. A 3-D printed model was on display at the booth of a high-temperature pusher furnace which was to scale at 12” = 1”.
This furnace system was developed to provide lower maintenance cost, improved product quality, and lower capital cost as compared to a 4.5 ft3 vacuum furnace. Dispelling the myth that the advantages of continuous De-Bind and Sintering are not available to the Sinter-Based Additive Manufacturing (S-BAM) market because the furnaces are too large. This furnace provides a lower cost of operation at a comparable capacity of production when compared to a 4.5 ft3 vacuum furnace.
For more information about this revolutionary technology and how you can take advantage of lower cost and higher quality continuous De-Bind and Sintering of S-BAM materials, contact Abbott Furnace at (814) 781-6355 or email [email protected].
